  1. If you want to assign internal addresses you can create a static addresses by going to network connections -> right click the connection you get internet from and select properties -> find the TCP/ IP protocol in the list and if in vista make sure its ipv4, then once its highlighted click properties and check use this IP address. Input the desired internal address 192.168.x.1-255 and then subnet mask should be filled in automatically, the gateway will be 192.168.x.1 x should be the same in both your ip and gateway, your domain can be found from typing ipconfig /all in the cmd.

    If it's 192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255 as your range, setup each individual computer to automatically search for the IP address within that range
