  1. The USSR created all kinds of nutso ways to deliver nukes...the suitcase nuke was one of those ways. There was also a nuclear hand grenade (figure that one out).

I'm sure if they were still around, Osama would have already gotten his hand on one of them. Then again, nuclear missiles exist and the gangly mo-fo can't get ahold of one of those :)

  2. Russia has them, so yes.

  3. You bet your sweet bippy they exist!  They were originally referred to as 'man-packs' as in a single man can carry it in to the designated target area and they were intended to blow up mountain passes, brigades and narrow roadways to r****d the movement of a rapidly advancing Army

  4. Apparently, any suitcase nukes that went missing would be useless now, because the maintenance on them would not have been performed to keep them ready.

But of course they could be a source of raw materials.

The real concern is the fuel - missile-grade uranium or plutonium.  Once someone has that, assembling everything else is relatively easy.

That's one reason Iran is such a concern.

  5. They only exist in movies.

  6. yep

  7. Yes but the blast is nano to the one America used.

  8. Yes the "suitcase" nuke did/does exist, however it delivers such a minute blast in terms of overall nuke power it'd take many to equal one missile/conventional nuke.  PEACE!
