My wife had the same thing on her left arm and it was infected. Red rash with little bump- like pimples. They had to treat the infection (IV) from the hospital for five days, and then the rash. I used a Urea based cream on her arm, and it took care of the rash quite well. It's just the stupid doctor who continues to look for something in her blood tests. She's already given blood five times and found nothing accept maybe some liver -damage (she had a couple of drinks a day before her blood test. Meanwhile the doctor know thinks she may have Hepatitus!
She is feeling fine, and is quite content with no physical problems of any kind, but the doctor may find something that will keep her returning for visits so he can make $$$$
