SUNY Binghamton or UConn for mechanical engineering?

i want to know which school has a better program for mechanical engineering. I am attending binghamton in the fall, but i'm thinking about tranferring to uconn after the first year b/c i think it may have a better program and i want to have the big sports games to go to. Would it be worth it transferring to uconn if i dont like binghamton too much? please state your opinion and possibly why

I am an 08 graduate of Binghamton University in mechanical engineering... I thought the program was great. Not too familiar with UConn's, but I would say with confidence that BU's program is the 'better deal'... considering both price and quality.

I graduated and was accepted to Cornell University for graduate school with full tuition covered + a yearly stipend to attend... So top ranked schools & employers take BU seriously and recognize their engineering program.
