Can a guy of 6ft 1in go out with a girl who's 5ft 1in or is that too much of a difference ?

It isn't too much, who should it bother anyway as long as it doesn't bother the 2 in the relationship. Taller guys usually make cuter couples with shorter girls anyway!

Don't let it make a difference.  I'm 5'7 and the ex was 6'4.  We never noticed and no one ever mentioned it to us.

I'm 6'4" and find that with partners lest than 5'6" I end up at the chiropractors. I mean holding hands, arms around shoulders etc.

Of course a 6ft 1!in guy can go out with a 5ft !in girl, there is no height restriction you know.  I have a friend who is just a little over 5ft and she has been very happily married for quite a few years to her 6ft 2in husband.  

When two people like each other, height differences become completely irelevant.
