SURVEY: NASCAR FANS...who is your FAVORITE driver and why?

I really want to know why you have chosen the driver you love. I have been watching Nascar for over 2 years now and have watched each of the drivers with great interest. I find myself enjoying Jr. because of his sincere love of the race and his ability to remain somewhat innocent to the publicity. He is rather shy and I find that charming. He is the most educated soul but he genuinely loves to race.

kevin harvick. I am from Bakersfield and kevin attended my high school when he was m y age. while he was at my school i had the opportunity to meet him and he is really an incredible guy and one heck of a driver

Denny Hamlin!

I thought he was an amazing driver when he was a rookie so I've liked him ever since. I think he got like 3rd in points in just his ROOKIE year.

I also like Kasey Kahne...he's so hot! lol but I think he's a great driver too.

My favorite driver is Tony Stewart!

I like him because

1-he is not afraid to speak his mind

2-he gives a lot and does a lot for charities

3-he never gives up in a race even if he has no shot at winning

4-he has an awesome nickname- in my opinion

I do not consider myself a fan but have been forced to watch it by a couple of male species that live in my house.  I do have a favorite driver though.  Carl Edwards (Mark Martin second).  Carl just seems like a really nice guy when interviewed and when he wins I love to watch the back flip.  I do like Junior however he is just so darned popular that I usually route for those who are not as popular. . . . . .I am getting kind of tired of hearing about the Busch brothers.  LOL.

Kevin Harvick. I picked him as my favorite Busch driver when he started racing there, mainly because his car # was the same as Rusty's. It didn't take very long to like Kevin for Kevin, though. I have always liked his aggressiveness and outspokenness. Once Rusty retired from Cup, it was only right that Kevin take over the #1 spot for me.

Tony Stewart, he's passionate about racing, has a huge heart-he gives back and doesn't forget where he came from, he tells it like it is and doesn't care if its politically correct as long as it's how he feels.

Jimmie Johnson because I think he has a lot of talent as a driver.Not too aggressive but he doesn't take any bull either. Also I Think as a person he is very intelligent. He knows when to shut up and drive.

I like Matt Kenseth.  He's a great driver and he's level-headed.  And, as the only driver who's been in the Chase every year the Chase has existed, he's definitely one of the best in the game right now.  He may not have the personality that some of the others have, but he's definitely likeable.

Plus, how can you not like someone who drives a Roush-powered Ford?

Elliott Sadler. He is just an easy going, laid back kind of guy. also, His accent, just cracks Me up. He is competitive without, having to take out the other drivers(on purpose). He helps out with lots of charities. I like to watch Him at Bristol, Richmond, Infenion and, Watkins Glen although, He has also had good runs at, Daytona, Talladega and, Texas, lately.

Jeff Gordon is my favorite. This may sound silly, but I originally picked him in 2001 because his car was so cool and because I heard him get boos from the crowd when he got introduced. I figured anyone who could get that type of reaction should be my favorite.

I'm TRYING to like Kyle Busch but he makes it tough to do, though, he is getting better.

Why? Because of the way Hendrick booted him out to bring in Jr when clearly it should have been Mears moved out to bring Jr in.  Now that Hendrick is booting Mears, I may have a new favorite driver - Casey Mears!

I can't like Jr.  The ENTIRE media is FORCING him down our throats & I will not be told who I will like.  It's too easy to be a Jr fan - it's like you're brainwashed or don't have enough sense to make your own choice.
