  3. No. Figuring out the correct angles to make kicks and banks is the easy part. The hard part is adjusting your stroke for the speed of the table, the bounce of the cushion (not all cushions are created equal), and the induced spin and throw. Only very new players are going to learn anything from such a device.

  4. I'm a gadget lover, so I might.  But Matt's right, visualizing the geometry is easy, it's the physics (spin, throw, etc) that's tough.  Obviously this will be different on different tables with different balls.  Would your device be able to calculate an approximation for these factors?

    Also, is this your market research?
