food is the thing to produce as a gardener I always have a variety of plant seeds probably not enough to produce enough food for a large amount of people but enough to help me and my family to live.The best way to preserve the food crop would be to dry out(dehydrate)for winter storage.All you need is a shovel to till the land.Considerations are basic survival
