SWEET 16 THEMES???! 10 easy points :D

i'm throwing a really awesome sweet 16 soon. not anything outrageous like on the show, but not lame either. and i'm not a superficial brat who gets whatever she wants, believe me, i was raised well ;] i was trying to think of some origional, fun sweet 16 themes. i'm a party girl, so themes that i can be really creative with would be awesome. my first idea was a carnial theme. like the holiday celebrated in rio, but then i realized it's the same thing as mardi gras, only that's in the US, and a friend of mine is already doing that theme. HELP PLEASE!?!
