Is it ok to swim in a beach during the first day of your period? They say it stops when you're in the water already but does it automatically resume when you get off the water? thanks!!

  1. um i dunno the safest ay to swimm without leaking is to use a tampon, if you don't know how read the side of the box and about tss (toxic shock syndrome)

  2. if you dont wear a tampon you will bleed and attract sharks

  3. It doesn't stop however it is fine to swim if you wear a tampon.

  4. "They say" is wrong. Your period doesn't stop while you're in the water. The water pressure may keep it from flowing out, but it doesn't stop. In fact, it builds up. So when you get out and the pressure is released, the flow has to go somewhere. A tampon captures the flow before it has a chance to be released. Pads are useless because they fill with water. So if there's nothing to catch you flow when you get out, it could be very messy, as well as embarrassing.

  5. Don't do it.

    Please dont do it.

    Besides you dont want a leek or anything so dont try it;

    especailly if your at a beach;

    Wut if a skark comes..

    If you really want to go;

    Try a tampon;

    But it might leek so dont count on it!

  6. just wear a tamp.

  7. It might not come out while in the water. But if your period is heavy enough it still could..

    I'd use a tampon, it could still leak.. But that way you've got some extra protection.

    If you've never used a tampon. Go buy a box. (Make sure they're not super or super jumbo for your first time. Regular should be good. I like tampax! :D) And practice putting them in!

    Plus, you're at a crowded beach right? Run away and blame it on someone else!!

  8. I need to swim even having period due to the training. The seniors said the water pressures stops the blood from coming out in the water but once you get up from the pool, the pressure gone and that's the time you need to run to a toilet because the blood will flow out, alot! As you're at the beach, I suggest you to wear tampon because you can't just soak in the water the whole day without sun tanning, playing and walking around.

  9. can't you just wear a tampon? unless the water goes 'up' and makes it leak i suppose. the flow of blood doesnt always stop when in water, so dont rely on that!

  10. The things you learn about your wife.  Mine says that she swims with a tampon, and that her period stops while she's in the water, but can resume as soon as she gets out... but that a tampon usually does the trick.

    I have a new appreciation for the difficulties of being a woman.  I mean, men, all we have to worry about in the pool is shrinkage.

  11. No please dont do that!! Just control yourself and dont go swimming!
