SYTYCD Costumes?

just out of plain curiosity does anyone know if the dancers on So You Think You Can Dance get to choose their own costumes?

I think they have a wardrobe team that dresses them.... sometimes its a hit... other times its a miss

No, they don't. But some dancers wear their own shoes/accessories. Rhys from SYTCYD Australia actually did and designed most of his make up :)

the shows wardrobe department chooses for them. i believe the choreographers try to give them some kind of idea. most of the time they do a pretty  good job:)

actually someone from my studio was on sytycd

she came back and told us that they don't the wardrobe people choose them
