The Pakistan Under-19 coach, Sabih Azhar, is happy with the talent at the domestic level in the country and singled out some young cricketers that he believes have the potential to serve Pakistan in international cricket for years to come.
Sabih has been coaching for many years and has been taking care of the Pakistan-A, and the junior teams. The former first-class cricketer is based in Rawalpindi and has helped a number of young cricketers to develop their game.

While speaking to Pakpassion, Azhar expressed that he has high hopes for the young wicketkeeper and he will continue to do well, and the selectors will take notice of him. The former cricketer is of the opinion that the selectors should try Anwar in the
T20 format, as he is a useful cricketer in that format.

“It is hard to gauge how close he is to an international call-up, although you can certainly see his future is very bright. In the just concluded National One Day tournament he has consistently scored very well in 4-5 games,” he added.
