Sac, CA. need a nice private landlord to rent to a family with great renters credit for 5 years.?

we have great renters credit for the past 5 years but bad regular credit. our landlord will give a great reference and we have a co signer if need be.

  1. You have a great landlord reference. There is no such thing as "renter's credit".

    You are probably going to have to offer to put down the maximum security deposit allowed per CA law and have a co-signer in order to get into a new place.


  2. There is no such thing as "renters credit".

    The only credit that counts is what is on your credit report.

  3. There is not such thing as renter's credit.  Bad credit is bad credit, period.  Even private landlords run credit checks, and won't rent to those with bad credit.

    Maybe your old landlord knows someone that would rent to you on his/her recommendation.
