Arrigo Sacchi has emphasized that Guardiola would be committing a mistake if he decides against renewing his current contract with the Spanish Champions.

However, Sacchi has recommended the 41-year-old to renew his contract with Barca.
While talking to COM Radio, the former AC Milan manager said:
"I left Milan because after four years I became drained and exhausted, Guardiola must decide for himself, but the best motivation is always found at home. Barca is his country, his history, his natural environment. The best thing for him is to stay
there."
He also argued against rumours suggesting that Guardiola will be on his way to Inter Milan.

The 65-year-old then went on to discuss Real Madrid’ manager, Jose Mourinho, and expressed that he is confident that the Portuguese mentor will remain at the helm of Los Blancos.
"There will always be people who want a lot [in life] and people who do not, but [Mourinho] is an extraordinary character. I think next year he will still be in Madrid."
