we have seen a very good performance of Shaun Pollock, Jaysurya, Gilchrist who r senior player and crossed their 30 but they can be match winners. ur comment

  1. its true you cant beat experience .its also good to have a mixture of young and old as it helps with the team spirit and the older guys can help the young talent out .

  2. Well as batsmen prospective I will have to agree what Sachin said. But in case of bowler I might not agree with him because a bowler will definitely face problem to keep his maximum pace as the age goes by.

  3. I guess its true cause as long as u r performing nobody really notices your age but once performance fails then naturally a lot of fingers are pointed ,But sometimes i guess patience should also be incorporated for under performing players regardless of his age!

While  it is true in  case of some players, age does come in the way of good performance in case of some players especially in the fielding as they may not be as athletics and agile in the field as the youngsters.  Further certain players cannot excell in different format of games.  For eample though V.V.S.Laxman is a very good testplayer, he will be a failure in ODI and T20.
