Sachin Tendulkar inks Rs 200 million deal with Coca Cola
Little master Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly struck a three-year endorsement deal with the multinational Coca Cola, which is estimated at approximately 200 million Rs. This decision of signing a deal with Coca Cola has come after the company’s rivals Pepsi
dropped him a few years ago. Based on the sources within the Industry, it has been learnt that Coke has inked a deal for three years with the master baster worth 60 million Rs a year.
Pepsi Co international had developed a new strategy based on which they had decided to drop ageing celebrities and stars from their various campaigns. Therefore, Tendulkar was dropped based on the Pepsi strategy to phase out the old ambassadors. As a result,

It has been learnt that Coke will be shooting a new television commercial sometime next month for Sachin Tendulkar, an advertisement that has been entirely scripted by the prolific ad man Prasoon http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Joshi-c69506.
When Coca Cola international were contacted they went on to deny the reports.
"We have not entered into any contractual agreements with Sachin Tendulkar. We are always in discussions with any number of leading celebrities with regard to their support of our brands and initiatives, but we only announce formal agreements after they
are signed."
Sachin Tendulkar has been in great form scoring more than 1000 runs in tests last year and has also managed to break the 50 Test centuries barrier, the first cricketer in the history of the game to have done so. He has just recently scored his 51st test
century. At this rate it will be expected that he would break the century of century mark very soon.
It has also been learnt that Sachin Tendulkar turned down a 200 million Rs endorsement for a liquor brand very recently. Currently the star batsman is endorsing a number of multinational companies and their products, which include Toshiba, ITC, Cannon, RBS,
Boost, Renolds, Jaypee Cements and Aviva.
