Sachin Tendulkar or Brian Lara ??

Question

Who do you think is the best overall batsman and cricketer out of these two, it is much debated, but the answers on here should hopefully settle it.

I am going for sachin my self.

Brian Lara, by far, is greater than Sachin Tendulkar. Ability to dominate attacks, winning matches singlehandedly have been the practice of Lara through out his career. While on consistency, in Test Cricket, Lara has been consistent for a major part of his career - so that is not at all an issue.

Brain Lara, without a doubt. Sachin has yet to prove him self in test cricket. Sachin has never played a great test inning, while Lara has played many.
