http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607 Tendulkar, the legendary Indian batsman, has made it clear that he will not shout to convey his point of view in the Rajya Sabha and also wished the Indian contingent to do well in the upcoming Olympics.
The great batsman was recently given an honorary seat in India’s parliament because of his great services for the country in sports.
The 39-year-old is considered to be one of the legends of the game and arguably the greatest batsman of all times. With more than 33 thousand runs at the ultimate level of the sport and 100 international centuries, there is no match for him when it comes
to statistics. The top-order batsman holds all the major batting records of the game.
Sachin usually keeps a low-profile and is extremely soft-spoken. This is the reason why his decision to accept the Rajya Sabha seat was immensely criticised in the media as the political culture in the sub-continent does not suit his personality.
The cricketer from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 believes that he can communicate the problems of the sportsmen in a decent manner and is of the opinion that his fellow politicians in the parliament will respect his stature and his concerns will be taken seriously.
“No one will make me shout. Why should one be shouting? You can politely put your point across and say whatever you have to, and then, whatever happens, happens," he expressed.
The former Indian captain is hopeful that the Indian athletes will deliver the goods in the London Olympics and prays that their hard work reaps reward in the mega event. Being one of the greatest sportsmen of the era, Tendulkar completely understands the
life of a player and he urged the fans to support their stars, without taking into account the results.
"I pray to God that they get all the strength and that they go out there and perform and express themselves, and all I can say is just enjoy yourselves and the rest will follow. They've really worked hard for a number of years now and yes, the expectations
are there, but who wants to go there and fail?" he questioned.
