The legendary Indian batsman, Sachin Tendulkar shared that the straight shot is his favourite stroke.
During a special programme on an Indian TV channel, when a Tendulkar fan asked about his favourite shot, the Little Master said he loves the straight drive.
"My favourite shot is the straight drive, opening up the face of the bat...no bowler likes to see the face of the bat," said Tendulkar in a Television interview.
The 38-year-old iconic Indian batsman rarely appears unnerved, and is usually calm, no matter what the situation. When asked how he handles the pressure of nerve-wracking matches, Tendulkar revealed that he avoids reading newspapers and watching television
to cut out the pressure.
"I can't do what millions of people have had to say as one should always focus on one's game as ultimately it is you who have to do it," said the prolific batsman replying to a question on handling pressure.
The 38-year-old veteran, who was conferred by the Indian Air Force with an honorary rank of Group Captain in June last year, is the most thriving One Day International batsman with an aggregate of 18,111 ODI runs. Coupled with an existing tally of 14965
Test runs, he is the leading run scorer in the 5-day game as well.

"If you think of the past, you will tend to think of all negative things,” said the veteran who holds almost every batting record in contemporary cricket, whether its the tally of International runs or maximum number of centuries.
“If you think of the future you will worry whether you can score or not. What is important is to focus on the job at hand," he insisted.
Tendulkar further added that thinking about the past brings one under pressure, hence, despite having a good record behind one, one should always look towards the future and do one's best in the present.
Tendulkar is also running many welfare projects and "Support My School Campaign" is one of his social welfare campaigns.
