Sachin Tendulkar to offer full support to Harbhajan Singh during IPL 5 – Cricket News Update

just as a team member.
Tendulkar has been the captain of the Indians since the very first season but now has decided to play as a player only, and feels that he can perform better without the extra burden of captaining the team.
During the recently concluded Asia Cup 2012, Sachin completed his 100th century in international cricket. Former cricketers are off the opinion that the little-master should call it a day at the highest stage of the game but Tendulkar is still
keen to carry on playing.

He said, “I was touched by the graciousness and whole-hearted support they offered me while emphasizing that they would accept any decision which helps me to continue enjoying the game. Harbhajan will have my whole-hearted support as the senior most player
in the team.”
While talking about his decision to play only as a player, Tendulkar said that he loves to play for Mumbai but he does not want any additional pressure at this stage of his career. He further revealed that he came to this conclusion after consultation with
the owners of the team and also with Harbhajan.
