Sachin Tendulkar’s injury won’t hinder his World Cup campaign
Sachin Tendulkar is geared up to play his sixth World Cup despite his injury concerns. He was included in Team India’s 15-man squad for the World Cup 2011. The squad includes a total of four injured players and Sachin Tendulkar is one of them. The news from
the camp is that the player has a minor hamstring concern and Tendulkar will be fit before the start of the mega event; the player got injured during the series between South Africa and Team India.
The source commented on Tendulkar’s injury, "It was just a strain and nothing more than that. The team physio reckoned it would only take a few days to set right and his non-participation in the remainder of the series was just a precautionary measure."

However, the absence of Tendulkar doesn't seem to be affecting the Indian team. After losing the first One Day International, India won the next two in a row. Having said that, India would be hoping for him to play a vital role in their ICC World Cup 2011
campaign.

is recovering from an elbow injury.
Although these injuries might come as a serious concern for the Indian team, the chief selector Kris Srikkanth is very positive about the recovery process and the chances of them playing in the World Cup.
"I am not worried at all about the injuries; these are part of the game. I am confident the team will be fully fit when the World Cup starts." said Srikkanth.
He continued registering his thoughts about the team and the their hopes to win the World Cup in home conditions, "It's a very balanced team. This team will do the job well."
