Sacked http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager Carlo Ancelotti reveals that he would like to stay in the Premier League
Freshly sacked Chelsea manager, Carlo Ancelotti has gone on to reveal that after being shown the door at Stamford Bridge, he would much rather prefer to stay and manager in the Premier League, rather than move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
The fifty one year old manager was fired following Chelsea’s one goal to nil loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043, on the final day of the Premier League season. Ancelotti wasn’t even given time to return to the Chelsea training grounds, as he was told that his services were
no longer required almost immediately after his post match speech.
The manager went on to help Chelsea secure a League and Cup double in his first season as manager of the Blues. However, failing to bring in any trophies to the club this time around ultimately led to the manager being shown the door at the Bridge.
There were countless speculations prior to the manager’s sacking, linking him with moves to numerous clubs. The manager was linked with a move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, but then as time progressed, the likes of Manchester City and West Ham United,
were also named as possible destinations for the manager.
However, Ancelotti when talking about his sacking and his future, went on to state that he would much rather prefer to stay in the Premier League, rather than move to another league, elsewhere.
The manager is quoted to have said:"I received news of my sacking before the flight, I accept and I respect Chelsea’s decision. I spent two fantastic years in this club. I think I made a good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. “
"Now, I think about my future. I would prefer to stay in England and the Premier League.”
It is hard not to feel a little bit of remorse for the Chelsea manager, he had helped Chelsea managed to secure a dramatic turn around this term, which saw them go from being 5th in the league, to competing for top honours.
However, as has been the case with countless managers before Ancelotti, he was shown the door, due to the fact that he failed to win anything for one season. It seems inexplicable for managers to face such a cruel fate, but such is the world of modern football.
Everyone expects their teams to do the best and bring in the gold year in and year out and when that does not work, serious changes are brought about.
Nonetheless, Ancelotti has not yet revealed as to what the future holds for him, but it is safe to say that he is going to be staying in the Premier League.
