  1. put the leathers through the leather bars (metal) under the little flap

  2. Don't worry! Try using a regular s***w driver to lever the stirrup bar up a little bit while you wiggle the leathers in there. It's all a matter of wiggling and effort. If you have trouble, ask a friend to hold the screwdriver while you try to work the leather underneath. You'll have to be careful about damaging the leather with the screwdriver, but don't worry about it if you do. The saddle skirt should hide any tiny marks you might accidentally make.

  3. That's quite normal.

If the sfety latch is up put it down ( you should never ride with it in the up position anyway) the rest of it is wiggling and pushing - trust me - it will work.

Just a thought - how did you take them off ? - did you slide them off the safety bar while they were still fastened ?

If that was what you did you need to unbuckle the leather and thread the tail end ( no buckle) upwards under the bar ( with the finished leather side facing down towards the saddle ) - push it through and then fasten it ( make sure that the stirrup is threaded onto the leather first !)

  4. that happened to me!

their should be a metal piece (stirrup bars) that your leathers came out of, it should pull down/out, then you can put your leathers in and close it, it takes a bit of strength to pull the bars open

  5. haha always happens to me but never learn from my mistake.

With the metal bar where the stiirrup li get a hoofpick and go from underneath and elevate the bar up so the stirrup leather can just get on their snuggly haha works like a charm!

  6. slide the leathers over the sturrip bar and then you should have them back in place

  7. 1.)  See the safety release on the end of the stirrup bar?

2.)  Push that release towards the cantle, use a pair of pliers if you have to.

3.)  Make a loop with your stirrup leather and then slide it back into the stirrup bar.

4.)  Put your quick release back up.

  8. i would buy new leathers.

  9. Fold the stirrup leathers and just do like they said...wiggle, wiggle under the metal bar, then straighten the hinged part and you're done.

Or get your boyfriend to do it! He'll feel like a MAN being all strong and stuff.
