  1. I would look into getting either a wintec with the easy change gullet system (synthetic) or collegiate convertable (leather). I have one of each and I love them! With both of these saddles you can change out the gullet size to meet MOST horses needs.  Most, not all.  Mine fit my NSH, and my Clydsdale.  Keep in mind that saddles are expensive though, (my wintec was about $700, and my collegiate was $1000, and the gullet kit is about $100) and if you are constantly on different horses, it might just be cheaper to hold off on buying one until you have your own horse.  I used to ride about five horses in addition to my own so I had my regular tree size saddle for my mare, and luckily everyone else used a wide tree so I had one saddle that fit all of them.

  2. I would purchase a 17 inch all purpose wintec saddle as you can change the gullet to five different widths, these also have adjustable knee pads (rolls) so you can change position for jumping and pleasure to dressage. They are also easy to clean and are lighter weight .

  3. I have 2 horses and i get all my saddles from this website

    www.statelinetack.com

    they have the best

  4. well... that might be a little hard with realy good fits to the horse... Arabs are usualy narrow with high withers.. as for quarter horses are a bit fille out and a little wider... try nationalbridle.com or stateline tack... i suggest a huntseat saddle rather then all purpose because it would be more apt to fit both breeds and would be eaiser to jump in..(i think) but good luck what ever u feel comfortable with...
