Saddle?? horse?? Cell phone?? need some help!!?

Question

so i have about five hundred dollars. i can get a horse, a cell phone, or a new saddle.

i have a saddle already but it is old and i need a new one,same with my cell phone.

i dont have a horse right now but i can save up more than 500 dollars for it!

i just dont know what to get!!!!

if i where to get a cell it would be this really nice blackberry type thing, my saddle would be like a billy cook, or i could just wait for the perfect horse.

which on would you use?

get a saddle...and have no horse to use it on!

In my area it's impossible to get a well-broke sound horse for $500.  You'd spend at least 4 times that here for a good horse.  Then add to that the cost of feeding, housing, farrier, etc., plus all the time you have to put into caring for it.  So I wouldn't buy a horse.  

I don't think any cell phone is actually worth $500 (but I know you can spend that much on one).  So I'd buy the saddle, assuming you have some use for it if you don't buy a horse.  Plus saddles tend to hold their value if you take good care of it, so if you decided to sell it you could probably make most of your money back.

Seems like this is a pretty rash decision. Don't get the horse, you're jumping into it and it's more responsibility then you think.
