Saddle with two seats?

Question

has any body ever used one of this saddles i think they would look kind of weird on a horse?

I would never get one , the person in the back would be sitting on the horses kidneys witch REALLY hurts the horse and can cause them to buck.

They are not ugly saddles and they can have two people on the and they don't look weird.. I went horse back riding with some friends and the adult had a little girl with her and the girl rode in the front part and the mom rode in the back and it worked fine and they are safe... just think of it as a bike with two seats ...HAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAH  ....   A

My friend has one. She puts her young son on behind her. Not sure if I would recommend one, they just don't look very safe to me unless it is on flat terrain and easy riding on a calm horse. Plus, some horses don't like them. If you buy one, make sure your horse is ok with double riders. I know some horses who buck with two people on.

EDIT: I mention the safety issue because we were out on a trail and were going up a very steep hill. Her horse started to canter up the hill and her son almost fell off backwards before she was able to pull the horse back down.

Those are real ugly saddles, I wouldnt dare to put them on my horse.

Wow, I've never seen anything like that before.

It probably depends on the horse. I think my mare would have been fine with it, as there were times when I had myself plus two friends riding her bareback. :)
