Sadie Wigglesworth joins Force India - Formula 1 update
Force India has signed Sadie Wigglesworth to head its media and sponsorship acquisition. She is a strategic recruitment for the Formula One team having the relevant expertise they require in the coming years. Wigglesworth is expected to build the commercial
approach of the Silverstone based team.
Sadie was formerly working for Aston Martin racing and has vast knowledge in several commercial domains. She has seven years of experience on her record, and has acquired and managed an extensive array of sponsors and partners, including several top-notch
companies. She has expertise in the areas of partnership development, contract law, client service, brand management and public relations.
Sadie is a graduate of St. Andrews University and began her professional career at the Vintage Sports Car Club. She then joined the Subaru World Rally Team as their senior account manager at Prodrive.
She initiated the marketing department of the Aston Martin Racing team when it was embarked on. She assembled the essential gadgets of marketing activation rights and collateral, along with a novel series of partner dealings around the world, including the
Indian subcontinent and Middle East.
Talking about her new job she said, "I am delighted to join the Force India Formula One Team, which has steadily moved up the ranks of the sport to become a strong midfield challenger with fierce ambition and now offers an outstanding commercial opportunity
for global companies wishing to enter the Indian market place."
She believes that the commencement of a Grand Prix in the Indian market offers a great scope for businesses not presently known in the country, to get an entrance into the market. She is very hopeful of the prospects the Jaypee International Race Circuit
could bring in.
Dr.Vijay Mallya, the team principal considers Wigglesworth as a favourable addition to his team who can bring in an exultant spirit to the team’s media and sponsorship acquisitions.
