Saeed Ajmal backs Harbhajan Singh to find his form - Cricket News Update

Pakistan’s off-spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453, to find back his form sooner rather than later and said that he is a world class player.
Harbhajan faced a torrid time against England in the first two matches of the series and was able to pick up two wickets. On top of that, an abdominal injury has ruled him out of the remainder of the Test series.
Ajmal, who is considered as one of the best spin bowlers in International cricket at the moment, along with England’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/GP-Swann-c1501, said that form is temporary but class is permanent. He said that Harbhajan is just lacking confidence at the moment and it
is the time when the Indian team should back him.
He said, “Everybody goes through bad patches, that’s part and parcel of professional sport. Sometimes as a bowler when things are not going your way you wonder when your next wicket is going to come. Harbhajan’s not looked as confident as normal through
the series and that has no doubt affected his form and ability to trouble the opposition batsmen.”
Harbhajan has been a great servant of Indian cricket over the years, as he has grabbed 406 Test scalps in 98 matches at an average of 32.22, which is considered good for a spin bowler. On top of that, he has taken 259 wickets in One Day International cricket.
Ajmal said that Harbhajan has a great past record and the cricket fans should remain patient with the player, as every cricketer is bound to face some bad days as well.
“He (Harbhajan) is a top class bowler. You don’t take over 400 test wickets by being an average bowler. He has earned those wickets through skill and hard work and he hasn’t become an average bowler suddenly,” Ajmal added.
The off-spinner looked completely off-colour against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 and it remains to be seen if Harbhajan can return back for the limited overs portion of the series. However, a number of former cricketers have urged the Indian selection committee to replace the
off-spinner with a youngster as he has gone past his best days.
