"I am thankful to ALLAH on our success. I am satisfied with my performance in the West Indies. We have defeated the World T20 champions. They were not a weak side,” said Ajmal. "We have defeated them on their home ground. People should appreciate our win."
One of the world’s finest spinners also praised the performance of the young Pakistani players during the tour and said that beating West Indies was a team effort.
"Young players played very well on the tour. It was a collective effort by all the players. You guys never appreciate us," he added upon.
