Pakistan’s left-arm spinner, Abdur Rehman, has expressed that Saeed Ajmal is one of the world’s best spin bowlers at the present moment and feels that it is a pleasure to play alongside the great off-spinner.
The 34-year-old cricketer, who started his international career late, is now among the best bowlers of the globe in all three formats. Presently, the wily off-spinner is amongst the top three of ICC's bowler rankings in all versions of the sport.
Ajmal came through the ranks of domestic cricket in the country after performing extremely well for Faisalabad over the years. The off-spinner has been a permanent member of the national side since making his debut in 2008.

their team’s success, both being permanent members of the side in the five-day format.
"It doesn’t need me to say that he’s a fantastic bowler," he said. "He’s proved that in all formats and it’s a privilege to be on the same side as Saeed. We get on very well on and off the field and it’s good to be able to discuss our bowling with one another,
areas that we can work on and talk about opposition batsmen’s strengths and weaknesses."
Ajmal already has more than 250 wickets at the ultimate level of the sport, with handsome averages in Test cricket as well the game’s shorter versions.
Abdur Rehman further added that the off-spinner’s real strength is his mental toughness, as he never gives up in any situation.
"He’s a bowler who provides his team with confidence as you know that he will bowl his heart out irrespective of the match situation or the opposition," he added.
