Safe to shave the hair off a mole?

Is it safe to shave the hair off a facial mole? It's not cancerous (as far as I know) because it's been there forever.

If you are going to have to shave it everyday,why not see about getting the mole removed?Enrique Iglesias had his facial mole removed,and it looks so much better,you won't have to worry about it again,and it's really a minor thing.Good luck.

Mate , dont worry !

of course you can do this , just be gentle with your skin ,

if its more of a 'bumpy' mole pluck it , and if its flat shave or pluck .

its whatever you feel comfortable doing goodluck !

p.s i shave the mole on my leg its small and flat  - dont worry you'll do fine !

I have a mole like that and I pluck the hair out rather than shave it.  I find that by plucking the hair doesn't grow back as fast.

its safe provided that you dont cut the mole if you do then treat it right away with neosporin or peroxide
