Get a vehicle that you feel comfortable with...You're the one that is going to drive it...Mom thinks that bigger and heavier are better...Not necessarily so...There are pluses and minuses to any vehicle...The smaller and lighter sedan would give you a little better fuel economy...The SUV would give you more interior room...The sedan would be more maneuverable than the SUV...The SUV would be more advantageous in bad weather...Test drive each and pick the one that suits your driving style and needs.
