Safety gate issues?

Question

We have large french doors opening out onto a first floor balcony, I want a safety gate to stop my little one from getting out there, but am having trouble finding a gate to fit the opening.

To fit the entire door and the windows either side it has to be 208cm wide.

Do you know of anywhere that stocks a gate to meet these specs? Please post links.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

I had the same sort of problem when I lived at my old house. I had one very similar to this and it was brilliant at keeping my kids safe as it can be used as a safety gate,room divider and a play pen.

I bought a playpen from Argos  for across my patio doors... mine are big ( and the patio doors !)  can`t do links ..I am cack on the puter ... xx

These play pens can also be used as a room divider, Im sure that would fit and could also come in handy as a play pen aswell :-)

Ive seen these in mothercare & babies r us, they could probably give you more info on the sizes etc.

Keep the french doors locked when the child is unsupervised.
