Safeway union question??

safeway union question?

I am new employee in safeway. I have a question regarding their union... Is it automatically deduct in your paycheck? or how does it work?

This will depend upon which state you are in. In some states, called "right to work" states, you don't have to join the union if you don't want to. In other states, you will.

Either way, the deductions shouldn't start until you've signed a paper authorizing them. Often there is a waiting period, like 2 months or so, before you can join the union.
