Safeway union questions?

I am new employee in safeway. I have a question regarding their union... Is it automatically deduct in your first paycheck? or how does it work?

You have to sign up for union membership within 30 days of being hired. Dues deductions don't start until then.

nope -- they will not start taking out dues until you become a member and most places require you to become a member with in 30 -60 days!!!
