Bonus challenge? I am watching the match right now and I believe that said with a win at Montreal (which she won) then she'll clinch the series. Is this correct? I guess it's believable. It doesn't surprise with Safina being #1 but what does surprise me is that in the top 4 with Safina is Bartoli, Cibulkova and Wozniak. It's pretty sad that none of the top players are up there. Not sad, disappointing I guess.

  1. The way she is looking and with all the injuries through out the tour, especially top 10, top 15,  she has to be highly favored to win The Open and even become number one by years end. She has clinched the series and can earn another million with The Open win. Ivanovic looks lost. Jankovic hasnt the game to be a number one and win a slam. Not now. Not until she strenghtens her body up. Williams Sisters are always injured with their thighs. Kuz has been injured and a bit erratic.  Dementieva only goes so far with that serve. If Safina doesnt win it, then one of the up and comers surely can. Meaning, Wozniacki, Azarenka, Szvay, Radwanska, Kleybanova etc. The top players, are they even goign to participate in The Open at this rate? Who knows.  Kudos to Safina. Last few weeks she made a fan out of me.

  2. Yes! Dinara can totally win. The only hiccup she had was in Wimbledon, but she had an injury. Now she has won two titles in two consectutive weeks, both on hard courts!
