  1. Safina's performance in this tournament is amazing beating Henin, Williams and Dementieva, 3 Players in the top 10. I think she has proven that she is capable of winning and when she starts believing in herself, she can win tournaments!!! Saying that she can be a major force in Roland Garros Let us see how she performs in Rome!!!She is young and very capable.

  2. after beating two champs i guess she deserve to win not only berlin but french open aswel

  3. Safina's always had the talent, but lacked the maturity, until now.  Hopefully she can keep it up, but we'll just have to see.  If she's anything like her brother, then anything's possible, including a grand slam title or a first round exit.

  4. I still think that Justine Henin is the woman to beat at the French Open this year. It also depends on how Dinara Safina do in her next tournament in Rome. She'll have a first round rematch against Victoria Azarenka and will face Ana Ivanovic in the third round.

  5. yup... she is very good and improved in red clay... another player that henin should watch out so she can still win in the French Open!

  6. I love Ivanovic, but Safina deserved it. She knocked out Henin and Serena. She has β@11$. She deserved to win.

  7. I personally shoced, but this year is the year of upsets and breakouts.

  8. Well done to Safina :) She deserved it !!!
