  1. how about a deep orange. Like a burnt orange (not rust). Like those roses that are yellowish and have the dark orange tips. That color orange! I almost did those colors together. :)

  2. Since you are having an evening wedding with the green/zen theme, I'd go with the green and burnt orange like someone suggested.  Dark brown would get lost in the dark unless you'll have bright lights during the ceremony or reception.  Dark brown would do really well if your wedding was during the day.  Use the orange color as an accent to the green colors of the dresses.  You can even use that color scheme for your floral arrangements..

  3. either dark brown or a rich evergreen colour would go lovely.

  4. A rich burgandy.

  5. ann taylor has beautiful dresses in rich colors like grape, sangria and chocolate brown.  i find them absolutely beautiful and they would look great with a pale green.

  6. Hmm. For an evening wedding, I would use silver or a shimmery metallic shade. That would look very zen with the sage green, and it would make a really cute bridesmaids dress.

  7. Your butter yellow is a nice idea.  Champagne might look a bit wasehd out with that kind of green.  An ochre or soft goldenrod would be nice with the green and would give an earthy feel to the look.  A soft rose would also be nice.

I heartily disagree with those who suggest brown.  That would be just dreary and suck the life out of the green.

  8. I used that colour with chocolate brown.  It looked absolutely gorgeous.  The bridesmaids had chocolate brown dresses and then the little flowergirls wore dresses in the green.  A dark chocolate brown looks incredibly elegant, and it looks great against the green.

  9. I think champagne would be gorgeous, or a gunmetal grey/dark silver color.

  10. Black and cream

  11. Dark brown?  Grey maybe?

  12. Definitely a brown.  I would say dark brown, but you could also do a bamboo color brown.  Something "wood" like.

  13. My sisters wedding colours were sage green, chocolate brown and light pink.  It looked really good together!

We wore chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses and held pink gerber daisies.  She had light pink roses for her bouquet.
