Question:

Sagging Illegal?

In Flint, MI they just made sagging (wearing pants below waist showing boxers) illegal. Do you think this is right?

As trash as it looks, we should be able to dress as we want.

So we cant wear wht we wan..which does not harm ppl in anyway. But yet, ppl are allowed to smoke in public, causing ppl to get cancer due to second hand smoke.

So answer this...

1. Do you think this is an appropriate fashion trend?

2. Do you agree it should be illegal?

*Remember, these are two DIFFERENT questions. Dont get them mixed up in one plz.

Thanks for sharing our opinions.

  1. 1. No, some people are too stupid to wear belts... and for some reason that's a fasion trend...

    2. At the very least, the public should know how to wear a belt...

  2. 1.  It's a trend; and like all trends it will go away fairly quickly.  Who cares if someone shows off their boxers.  If the someone just wore boxers without pants, I doubt anyone would really notice, just another pair of shorts.

    2.  It should not be illegal.  This law violates the 1st ammendment of the constitution.

  3. it shouldnt be illegal FREE COUNTRY

  4. When you start working anywhere you always should read the contract properly.. it must also say something about ''dress code'' this company expects.. what is allowed and what not.. and if the contract says certain things are not allowed to wear there.. you have to go by that or not accept the job.. same as care workers.. need to wear uniform.. have short clean finger nails.. little make up.. hair either below shoulder lenght or if hair is long.. with females in a ponytail.. and only light colored nail polish... no rings with stones.. as that can hurt the patients they care for... so yes there are rules.. and people smoking in the street is allowed .. you can walk away from them.. but more and more restaurants ban smoking.. it's not allowed in offices to smoke inside anymore, so they have to go outside.. to prevent second hand smoke.. no smoking on public transport... all that is banned.. no smoking on planes.. to prevent that non-smokers are exposed to smoke.. and outside it's not that dangerous as indoors... x*x

I believe people should be allowed to wear what they want but if there is a contract that states what you are allowed to wear and what not.. check your work contract.. if it states certain things are not allowed you have to follow the rules of the work contract...

  5. I like to sag, I think it looks good and it feels good.  Its a free country.  If you don't like sagging don't look at it--how hard is it to look at something else that doesn't bother you?  Whats going to be left legal when everything that somebody doesnt like is made illegal?  And who do is hurt by sagging?  Anybody at all?

  6. 1. I think it looks sloppy and ugly, but it is a trend.

    2. I don't think it should be illegal.

If emo kids can wear their ridiculous hair and make up, the sagging pants should be acceptable.

  7. Why don't you do that in San Francisco on a g*y Parade day in front of a bunch of Bears and see what it gets you.

Tired already of seeing these punks strutting about basically yelling "Come on and bust my cherry!" already.

Not interested...more into grown up stuff myself

  8. I think smoking should be illegal. I think sagging pants should be illegal. I think t-shirts with inappropriate messages on it should be illegal. If you want to do that stuff in your own home..then okay. But it should be illegal in public places.

Remember that you are out where other people can see you. There are possibly children around. I know that I would not want my child seeing some person's pants hanging around their knees. Just as I wouldn't want my child to read a shirt that said "The only job I need is a Blow---"

It is rude and immature. Leave those things at home. Think of others while you are out an about.

  9. this is a free country it should not be illegal. however the trend is not really appropriate.

  10. I think it should only be illegal if certain body parts are exposed,  it would be indecent exposure.

I also think it is a disgusting fashion trend.  Buy pants that fit or a belt.

  11. 1. depends on how low

    2. no

I LOVE BOXERS AND IM WEARING SOME RIGHT NOW

  12. I think that showing any part of your private body parts should be illegal, as well as smoking.  There are some of us that do not like to smell smoke from others, and there are others of us that do not like to look at messy looking pants and droopy underwear.  We have the right to comment and to put a stop to sloppy acting and sloppy looking people if we want to, just as you say you have rights, so do we.
