Arsenal’s defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 has gone on to admit that it was a very positive result for the Gunners to pick up a point against Stoke City.
The Gunners went into their game against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium, with a need to pick up three points from the game.
However, with Stoke taking the lead, things didn’t seem like they would go according to Arsenal’s plan.
However, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 levelling things just a few minutes later, the North London club got back in the game.
Nonetheless, despite Arsenal’s best efforts, they couldn’t end up scoring another goal and as a result, the match ended as a draw.
Sagna believes that a point was more than enough for the team to secure a third spot finish and was happy that his side didn’t drop all three points in the game.
The defender is well aware of the fact that Stoke are one of the most physical sides around and a draw against them is a very decent result.
When talking about the game, the French international is quoted to have said: "They are a very physical team. The play a lot with free-kicks and they attack with the ball”

"But we managed to come back. It was very important because it's never easy to get some points here but today it might be a very important point."
Despite this minor slip up, Sagna has urged his team mates to pick up the pace in the coming weeks and look to secure a third spot finish.
The defender feels the team is in a favourable position to end the season on top of their rivals and they shouldn’t avoid any more slip ups in their coming games.

"Some teams are behind us but we know we have our destiny in our hands," he added.

"We've worked a lot to come back to third place and we want to stay and qualify straight away."
