France international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 manager Laurent Blanc stays with the French national team past the summer.
Blanc has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur after former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp was sacked earlier this month. Even though there are other candidates, Blanc is currently the favourite to take up the position.
However, Saha believed the France manager should not leave the national side to take up the manager’s position at Tottenham Hotspur. The striker was released by the club after his six month contract with the London side expired and is now looking for a club
to move to.
Saha said in an interview:
“He's a top manager. He'll always have interest. I can imagine him being in the Premier League because of his experience.
I want him to stay in the job for France because he has been doing a terrific job so I wouldn't like him to go to the Premier League yet.”
According to Saha, Blanc had done brilliantly for Les Blues since the 2010 World Cup and should therefore continue on with them. It was because of his efforts that the French team recovered from the disastrous World Cup campaign in 2010 and were on the road
to recovery.
Before their defeat to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 in the group stages of the European Championships, France had been unbeaten in 23 matches. Even though they suffered defeat to the Swedes, they managed to qualify for the next round of the European tournament.
He continued:
“It was quite an achievement to qualify for a big game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. It feels like a great achievement. Technically and tactically we have to be in top form and the manager has to have a big role in that.”
Along with Blanc, Tottenham Hotspur are considering bringing in former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294
Di Matteo. Among the other manager’s linked with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 are Rafael Benitez and Pep Guardiola.
