I hope you can help or steer in the right direction to solve my problem. I have a Sahara laptop, which is a South African company name, I have found out that essentially it is a Quanta model. Checked for a site with not much luck to look for new drives. What my problem is, is the hdd. I originally had a 40GB Hitachi hdd in. That ones circut board failed and had to the replace the hdd though there are no longer any of these around due to age and so got a 80gb Western Digital, now it no longer finds the optical drive. Any ideas and seggestions very welcome. Brendan
