Sailboat tiller hardware mounting?

Question

27' Bristol Sloop - my tiller hardware split. This mounting is actually connected to the tiller handle.

Any suggestions

First, join the BristolYachts group on Yahoo! -- currently 308 members and growing. Go to More Yahoo! and then select Groups. Next, go to the website www.sailnet.com and to www.sailboatowners.com and register for the Bristol Yachts email list or forum. Each of these has many owners of your boat and you should be able to get some solid advice on sourcing or replacing your hardware. Since many of these items are unique to specific boat manufacturers and to specific models, you may have to have parts fabricated by a machine shop. Good luck in your search.
