The French international said that Paris Saint-Germain winning the Champions League should not be ruled out, as les Parisiens have the ability to win the competition.

The defender praised Paris Saint-Germain’s potential and said that it’s only a matter of time that the Paris-based club gains the momentum, which would lead them to winning trophies. The Frenchman has all the confidence in his team’s capability to win silverware
this season.
Despite the recent setbacks in the Ligue 1 and the exclusion from Coupe de la Ligue at the hands of AS Saint-Etienne, the center-back seems optimistic about the club. The player has insisted that the team has the potential to win trophies, and les Parisiens
aim to do that sooner, rather than later.
Sakho’s keen on winning the European title with the Paris-based club, and believes that is a realistic approach for the club, knowing the squad they currently have. The Frenchman stated:
“Winning the Champions League? Why not. We have players who are very experienced and have played on that level.”
