I don't know how long this was going on but I think for about a week now. I don't know how but sometimes I found myself thinking Islam is fake and this never happened. I read and I pray everyday, actually I'm listening to Suratul Najm right now on the computer. How can I stop thinking these thoughts?

Jazakumlahu Khayran

Salaama Alaykum.

  1. Salaam sister!

I think this is a time when you need to stand strong over your belief, you need to stand fast and hold on to the rope that binds us to Allah.

I am sure the time is over when Shaitan sees that your faith in Allah is far stronger than his struggles to make you lose your way!

keep reciting surah-e-Hamd and don't only recite but try to feel what it says!

I am sure Allah watches your struggle too!

  2. Audhu Billahi Minash shaitaanir rajeem.

Say that when you get whispers. You only get attacked by whispers when your faith is strong, dw abou it.

    Works a charm..

    =]

  3. say " A-oothu b llah mina shytan rajim"

that will take the saitan away its the prayer aginst him then ask Allah (SWT) for guiding you back to the right path, an Inshallah you will be back to your normal self.

say " Astagh-fur Alah" everytime you think of that thought.

Inshallah you will be back to saying Islam is right

May Allah guid you to the right path again =)

  4. In the Name of God, Most Gracious.

Maybe you are reading but not meditating on the quran? take some time out in between readings and think about the verse(s) you just read, reflect and understand; do this alone, without any imam or hadith just a personal thing between yourself and God. Implore the Lord to make your faith steadfast and strong

    Salaam sister

  5. My dear sister,

You should tell what you feel to your parents and Imam of your Masjid  so they can counsel you and help you with the wrong thoughts you keep getting in your head.  If you are living in west, the influence of western culture and your non-Muslim friends can affect your thoughts.  Your  Imam or senior ladies whom you know like mothers of your Muslim female friends may be able to help you getting such thoughts out of  your mind.  You must know that there is no other true religion except Islam.   There is no God other than one God Allah we believe.  Nearly 300-400  non-Muslims are accepting Islam every day. They all can't be wrong.  See the following videos I found on Youtube and listen to them what they say after their conversion.

Christians, Hindus, Jews and even Budhists are reverting as Muslims.   May be these videos will make you think more positively.

  6. It's not your fault. Shaitan is making you think these thoughts. Fight him!

  7. Audu Billahi MinashShaytan NirRajeem---Read this.

I disagree with Majeed, talking to her parents and imams will lead, this sister to think more and more about the doughs casted by the shytan.

so, sister just ignore the shyatn, and don't try to answer him, saying surly Islam is the best etc. rather ignore him. And also try to strengthen your knowledge about Islam. such as listening to the Seerah of the Prophet (saw) or stories of the other Prophets (A.S), or MashaAllah there are loads of lectures on the Internet today, that aim @ strengthening one's iman, listen to them. Seek Allah's help and continue what u r doing, Praying and reading/Listening to the Quran.

May Allah help u and us all from our greatest enmey Shaytan.

  8. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

    (insha'Allah)

    dear sister...

perhaps this song will help... (as well)

remember that it is through the testing of our faith that we learn patience.

[5:55].[5:56] is good reflection and prayerful meditation.

    (insha'Allah)

May Allah bless us, guide us, protect us and forgive us.

    (((k.s.)))

    [8:46]

    SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi

    Allahu a'lam

  9. Well thats Very Normal Shaitan is putting waswisa in ur head ! Just fight it !!

  10. We know from the ahaadeeth of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam that eemaan increases and it decreases; it is not fixed.  It is totally natural and it's ok, this is normal.

Eemaan can increase with worship and the remembrance of Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala as long as it is in accordance with the Sunnah.  So standing up in Qiyam, making du'aa, praying nawafil prayers, and things like that are ways to increase eemaan.

Also, surround yourself with positive influences.  Try to be around good people because righteous companions that strive to be like the companions of the Prophet are a great help.  You can all hold each other up like the walls of a house.

  11. Make sure you contemplate over what you read too as this will help you more.

  12. It's Shaytaan dear. He sits near our heart waiting. As soon as he finds us away from Zikr he injects his waswasa into our hearts.

Shaytaan will attack every heart which is empty of Allah's Zikr. We need to remain busy in Zikr of Allah so that Shaytaan does not put doubts into our hearts and minds.

  13. Just say: Auzu billahi min-ash-shaitan-ir-rajim

And be carefull with the people you choose to hang out with.

  14. wa aleikis salaam wa rahmatullah

this can b very normal, specially if you were born in the religion and practiced Islaam as u were told.

Do take refuge with Allah and make a lot of dhikr, and make a duas and be consistent in them.  Ask Allah to guide you and keep u in the straight path.  And if you are having serious doubts, please mention your doubts, get it more clarified.  Allah made the truth clear from false.

gain more knowledge of the religion.  specially the basics... the creed.  may b read heart softeners etc. & Do NOT look into other philosophies and ideaologies.  And do not observe or take part in debates and criticisms.

Your imaan will weaken even more if you did this at this state.
