Salacres Chip to bounce back to winning ways in Betfred Mobile Casino Sprint Trophy at Nottingham
Betfred Mobile Casino Sprint Trophy is a moderate affair, and looks an ideal chance for Salacres Chip to bounce back to the winning ways. Without a shadow of doubt, the fawn dog is well capable of doing wonders. The clash will be hosted by Nottingham on
Monday, April 22nd.
P. Harnden’s charge is going through a lean patch these days. On his previous two ventures here, he suffered plenty of mess. He baulked on the second last occasion, when finishing fourth on the table. The latest ride was also unfortunate.
After stepping out of the trap, he got crowded at the first bend. Although he was well drawn, it did not look possible for him to maintain the standards from the mess in the beginning of the race. Hence, he could only finish third on the table.
Today’s opposition is not that hard. The draw is not a big concern for him. Standing in the second trap, the dog has the opportunity to establish his dominance right at the start. It will be interesting to see how he handles the situation to regain his momentum.
Other runners in the pack are: Johnny Ninja, Ballymac Mozart, Rackethall Bound, Penniment Mick, and Fahy Noreen. The punters need to make their moves quickly, because there is hardly any time left. The officials will kick off the proceedings at 21:41 GMT.
A prize of 200 pounds is reserved for the winner.
Fahy Noreen is well-housed, but boasts just the sole success to date. So, the red jacket is unlikely to help her. Penniment Mick must conjure up one of those slick exits. The black dog was sixth last time out.
Johnny Ninja failed to live up to the expectations under race conditions. He ran well in the solo race though. Rackethall Bound made it count in the graded fare on home soil a few days ago. The black dog is likely to create a few troubles for the favourites.
Ballymac Mozart is fully exposed, but victories are few and far between. We wish the best of luck to all the contenders.
