Salacres Sparky likely to shine at Nottingham
Salacres Sparky has got a great chance of winning a Grade A2 contest at Nottingham in England on Monday, November 5, 2012. He has got a lot of experience and has been doing a decent job over the past few months, which will give him the confidence of bagging
the cash prize of £124 in the end.
The talented greyhound has been racing at the highest level for his team, but things have not been working out really well for him in terms of victories. Therefore, he has been given a chance to deliver positive results in a lower class, which will hopefully
give him the confidence of regaining the winning touch.
Things will not be easy for anyone in the 500 metres flat contest, which is scheduled to start at 19:01 GMT. Although, the start will not matter much, yet it will be important for all the runners to gain some momentum in the beginning.
The bookmakers have suggested that the real competition will be amongst Fabulous Vision and Salacres Sparky, as both of them are highly skilful hounds. They have been rated as the joint favourites to succeed, but the punters might not be interested in risking
a lot of bets in favour of the former contestant.
One of the main reasons for that is the inconsistency of Fabulous Vision, which is not a very good sign for her team. She has produced some mixed performances over the past few events, thus her confidence level will be low.
Furthermore, the young b***h will be entering the event from trap number four, which is not the most ideal position to start the race from. She might get blocked at the start, allowing her opponents to take away the early lead.
However, there will be chance for the D. Firmager’s trained b***h to make a comeback, as the distance to cover is not a short one. She finished in fourth place last time around and will need to take a big step forward in order to break the shackles.
On the other hand, Salacres Sparky secured the third spot in a Grade OR contest last time around and his confidence level will be high. Moreover, he will enter the race from trap number one, which will give him an opportunity of attacking right from the
beginning until the end.
