Salahuddin, a former PCB chief selector, said that coach is not supposed to conduct himself in such a manner and the 12th man is sent to the field to convey any important messages.
“Normally, a 12th man is sent in to give instructions or a message to the batsman on the field as and when the need arises,” said the 64-year-old former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Test cricketer. “But our animated interim coach was trying to pass on the instructions from
the pavilion and it would not have surprised me if he, instead of the skipper, had signaled the declaration as well,” he added further.
Salahuddin, who played five Tests for Pakistan during his 4-year-long International career, also criticized the defensive approach of the Pakistan coach and the captain. He said that the defensive approach of Mohsin and Misbah spoiled things for Pakistan
