Former Test cricketer of Pakistan, Salahuddin Ahmed, has urged Pakistan cricket team’s captain and coach to shun the defensive approach if they want to see the side back on the winning track.
In an article published in a leading Pakistan daily, Salahuddin said that the defensive approach of Pakistan cricket coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972, deprived the side of a certain win.
The former chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Board said that it was the defensive approach of the coach and captain which had let the Lankans off the hook in the first Test after being at the back foot in the first four days of the match. The former Pakistan

“Pakistan captain and coach’s defensive approach let the Sri Lankans off the hook in the first Test and deprived Pakistan of a certain victory,” wrote Salahuddin Ahmed.
“As far as the Sri Lankans are concerned, the manner in which they salvaged the game was as good as win for them,” he added further.
