Salary Cap Football Question??

Question

If you have played salary cap football before. Is it worth dumping a guy if he is on a bye week to get someone else? Say you have Brady and you only can hold 1 QB. Do you sell him on his bye week?

I would think, because when you drop Brady, his value should decrease during the bye, so you can pick up a quarterback of lesser value and still get Brady in the next week. If it's auction football, it's a whole different story.
